I had listened on the radio to parts of "Messiah," with Solti and the Chicago, a performance from 1984, and had missed the names of the soloists. I especially wanted to know who the very fine tenor was. Finally I have found the name, Keith Lewis, and have read this rave review from a Lewis recital in 2015. Three decades is a long stretch for a tenor to stay in top voice. I'm glad Lewis did so and am wondering whether he is still singing well. I hope so.
